Make GuildWard feel native to your community
Pro servers can give the GuildWard bot a server-specific display name and avatar. Every protected server can use a different identity, managed from the same tenant-scoped GuildWard dashboard.
- Match the bot member to your server's brand.
- Use a different identity for every protected server.
- Review, publish, reconcile, or reset the identity from the dashboard.
- Keep every change versioned, tenant-scoped, durable, and auditable.
- Automatically restore the standard GuildWard identity when Pro access ends.
Built for safe Discord operations
GuildWard validates names and image uploads before publishing. The desired change and audit context are committed before a worker calls Discord. Duplicate delivery is idempotent, stale versions are skipped, temporary Discord failures retry with bounded backoff, and missing permissions become actionable Setup Health warnings.
The dashboard distinguishes the desired configuration from the identity Discord has confirmed. Publication reports completion only after reconciliation verifies the server-visible result.
What this feature does—and does not do
Custom Bot Identity personalizes GuildWard's bot member inside the selected Discord server. It does not create a separate Discord application, transfer application ownership, or hide the underlying GuildWard service. GuildWard attribution remains present where members need it to understand the verification service they are using.
Included with Pro
Custom Bot Identity is available to paid Pro servers and servers with an active platform-admin Pro trial. If Pro access ends, GuildWard queues a durable restoration of its default name and avatar. The saved custom configuration remains inactive so an administrator can choose to reapply it after a later upgrade.
